How Valentino began

Valentino Garavani founded his house in Rome in 1960, and with his lifelong business partner Giancarlo Giammetti he built one of the most romantic names in fashion. Valentino's couture was synonymous with beauty in its purest form: impeccable craftsmanship, extraordinary gowns and a devotion to making women look and feel their most radiant.
