How Acne Studios began

Acne Studios was founded in Stockholm in 1996 by Jonny Johansson as part of a creative collective, and its fashion story famously began with a hundred pairs of raw denim jeans with red stitching, handed out to friends and family. From that small run grew one of the most admired houses in modern fashion.
