How DIOR began

Christian Dior founded his house in Paris in 1946, and in February 1947 he presented a debut collection that changed the silhouette of the century. Its rounded shoulders, cinched waist and full skirts were so striking that the press called it the New Look, and the Bar jacket became an icon overnight.
