How FENDI began

FENDI began in Rome in 1925, when Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened a shop selling leather goods and furs. Their five daughters later joined the business, and in 1965 they invited a young Karl Lagerfeld to work with the house, beginning a collaboration that lasted more than half a century.
