LOEWE began as a leather workshop in Madrid in 1846, a collective of artisans whose craft was later brought together by Enrique Loewe Roessberg. Over more than a century and a half the house has become Spain's great luxury name, admired above all for the extraordinary softness and skill of its leatherwork.
Under Jonathan Anderson, creative director for more than a decade from 2013, LOEWE became one of the most talked about houses in fashion, celebrated for surreal, witty, intensely crafted collections and a deep commitment to artisanal work of every kind. The Puzzle bag, with its geometric panels, became an emblem of that era. The Anagram logo, four interlocking Ls, remains the house's elegant signature.
The denim
LOEWE treats denim as another material for craft and invention. Its jeans and drawstring trousers play with relaxed, generous proportions in considered washes, simple garments made remarkable by cut and finish, exactly the kind of thoughtful twist the house does so well. Selected pre-owned LOEWE bags in denim also join our edit.
Why it's on jeans.com
LOEWE turns everyday denim into something considered and quietly surprising. We carry the house because few labels bring such intelligence and artistry to everyday materials.
