The house

How Brunello Cucinelli began

Brunello Cucinelli built his house around a single idea. In 1978 he began dyeing cashmere in colour, something rarely seen at the time, and from that small, bold step grew one of Italy's most admired luxury companies. Its home is Solomeo, a medieval hamlet in Umbria that Cucinelli lovingly restored and where the company still works today.
