Roy Roger's was started in 1952 near Florence, at a time when jeans were still a novelty in Italy. The brand took American five-pocket workwear and gave it an Italian sensibility, and it is often described as one of the first Italian jeans labels.
Today it is known for well-made, wearable denim with a vintage feel, classic cuts and washes that nod to its long history.
The denim
The range here covers women's wide-leg jeans in beige and blue, the Marta, Tilda and New Oskar styles, and men's fits such as Cult, Day Off, Cisco and Dapper. Washes run from faded and old-glory blues to black, brown and green.
